Hello! I am the Lead Mentor for The All Knights and was a student on this team from
2014 - 2018. My passion lies in the intersection of art and engineering: making
functional AND cool projects. I have over 5 years of experience in design and
manufacturing, and pride myself as a "Master of None". I am much more interested in
how differing specialties combine together to impact the final execution. I am hoping
to inspire students, regardless of skill-level, to pursue self-discovery of creative
solutions. Fostering an open and safe environment is how I intend to keep this team
alive beyond me.
Hi! I joined The All Knights during the 2026 competition season as the parent of a
student and a programming mentor. I have over 10 years of programming experience,
beginning with small Excel automations while working as a production operator. That
curiosity grew into larger data projects, factory automation, and inventory systems
within the semiconductor industry. Today, I work as an Advanced Senior Software
Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, developing software used to configure and test
aerospace systems. I hope to show students that programming is a skill anyone can
develop through curiosity, experimentation, and persistence. My goal is to help
students build confidence, solve problems creatively, and understand how software
connects with the larger engineering process.
